Just a refresher: The Ezra Jack Keats Book Award is given annually to a new picture book writer and new picture book illustrator by the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation. EJK Award winning books usually highlight universal qualities of childhood, strong and supportive families, and a often have a multicultural aspect.
