3rd Grade Editorial: Pegasus #1 – The Flame of Olympus| March 24, 2014
Hi, everybody! Greek Girl is back! Today I’m going to share a post about Pegasus: The Flame of Olympus by Kate O’Hearn! This is book is about a girl named Emily who lives in New York City. One night, while her Dad (who, by the way, is a policeman) was still at work there was a thunderstorm. And in the middle of the thunderstorm, Pegasus came crashing down on her roof. I don’t want to give too much away, but let’s just say, hmmmm, they go on an adventure … with some other characters, too.
The Flame of Olympus
(one for you, one for a friend)
I really like this book because it is real life action mixed with Roman Mythology and it is really cool to see the world and what happens in New York City from Emily’s point of view. I think this book is similar to the books by Rick Riordan because they are both real life mixed with mythology, but both of them have their own styles. This book is very suspenseful, so beware – once you start you just can’t stop!
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Mythology, action, and real life. So pretty much everyone.
I hope you had fun reading this post.
I had fun writing it.
